OS: Debian 11

IPv6 Reverse DNS: None
This provider allows us to select which OS we want installed when the service is provisioned. After the service is activated, this provider uses SolusVM VPS control panel to manage the OS and the IP addresses of the VPS. This provider allows us to reinstall the OS unlimited times per month.
The reverse DNS management provided in the VPS control panel is disabled by the provider. The next step is to open a new support ticket asking them to set the reverse DNS for your IPv4 address. They absolutely do not support any reverse DNS for any IPv6 addresses.
Now, login to the VPS control panel and click the Manage button next to the server you want to manage.
Next, set the hostname listed above, using the hostname field. This field is just a label to make it easy to visually manage all of our servers and has no actual impact on the server, except for labeling.
Once the service is activated, this provider automatically provisions the IPv6 subnet. The IPv6 subnet should appear in the Network tab of the VPS control panel.
Next, navigate to the Network tab and click on the Manage tab for the IPv6 subnet. This control panel sadly makes us add each IPv6 address to the control panel one at a time. For our setup we need to add 100 IPv6 addresses to the server. Add them now. This pool will be used for all our own addresses and addresses that are provisioned to clients.
Next, navigate to the OS tab. We see many OS templates to pick from. Make sure to use the OS listed above for setting up this server. Select the OS and click Reinstall OS. You should wait 10 minutes before you begin working at the shell level, to make sure the OS is completely installed.
After reinstalling the OS with this provider, you will need to reconfigure the networking from the VPS control panel to add all of your IPv6 addresses back to your VPS. You cannot come back to this step and reconfigure the networking after you have moved on to the next step or started the system installation in any way.
Before we begin working at the shell level, verify the hostname, verify the OS you are using, verify the IP addresses and reboot the server.
